Riders to sign Picard?

I just read an article from the Winnipeg free press that says that Dominic Picard may sign with the riders once the free agecy period begins. Apparently he is staying with Bob Wylie in the US this offseason and will follow Wylie here when he is officially hired by the riders. Picard is only 26 and has a great deal of potential. What I am wondering is does this mean that Jeremy O'Day will not be back? I really think O'Day is a great player as well as a great individual. However, he is getting up there in age and it may be time to turn the position over to a younger player. What does everyone else think (I would love it if happy to be green replied but I would understand if you don't)?

It seems like a rumour but it makes for some interesting debates.

I think he answered that one for you.

This rumor is officially: SQUASHED. However do we need a future Centre? will SMS allow this? don't count this out yet O'day doesn't have his full career left.

O'Day is here to stay, well at least for a year plus option.
