And, deep down all Stamps fear most is a loss to the superior mighty SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS

Well it wasn't a massacre but turkey picked the winner. Nice call turkey. Glad I went with my gut on this game in the VGCC.

Hate to admit that Turkeybrain got it right but let's examine his predictions:

  1. "Damian will destroy the Stamps D" -- YES HE DID IN THE END ALMOST 500 YARDS PASSING - THEN SOME TIMELY RUNS.

  2. " Fantuz will be fantastic" --- YES HE WAS

  3. " Cates will make stamps sorry they traded him" ----TWO KEY RUNNING TOUCHDOWNS

  4. "Riders D will dominate" ----- NOT EXACTLY ACCURATE BUT DID ENOUGH TO STOP HENRY FROM HAVING A BIG GAME

  5. " Bragg will brag" ---- WRONG HERE AS BRAGG GOT TWO PENALTIES

  6. "Huffer will have to use a puffer" ---- I SWEAR I SAW JOHN HUFNAGEL PUFFING OXYGEN AT THE END TO REVIVE HIMSELF IN TOTAL DISBELIEF AS TO WHAT HE HAD JUST SEEN!!!

…good win for the riders, a heck of a game all round, these two teams will be battling some more this year and hopefully the games are close like this…

Agree, 100%. They have two more games to play against each other this year - both will be dandies :slight_smile:

These two teams have one game for sure on the 17th of Oct. in Regina. The other date legalbeagle for one team; will still be pending on who wins the Semi Final. But yea, (more likely than not) it will be another classic game between Sask. and Calgary in the West Final.

Yeah he got two TDs (5 and 8 yard runs) but overall I think that prediction was a failure. Cates had 10 carries for 35 yards and a fumble.

And this is a subtle jibe to the fans of the Eastern team that is going to cross-over.

The back to back games coming up between B.C and Winnipeg will speak alot or should give us fans some indication on a possible cross-over.
