Good signing by Riders. Probably means Micah is gone.

Wishing Rose lots of luck except when Riders play the Stamps.

Well if he plays like last year against the Stamps we have nothing to fear. he is getting a little long in the tooth that is why Dickenson let him go. Along with the impending bonus that is :grinning:

Another great signing by Jeremy o’day and the Riders

It’s the money. He’s got productive years ahead of him or the riders wouldn’t have picked him up (I hope!)

I tend to agree. Although every free agent signing is a gamble of some kind, I don’t see any football commentators or members of the forum writing him off just yet. I think fans of any team would be happy to have him. I would not have complained had he signed with the Bombers. We’ll see.

It’s almost impossible to know the back story to why players are let go or want to move on. As fans we mostly have to trust the brass in charge if making the decision.

In this case with Mace’s relationship to Rose I trust he’s making an intelligent and informed decision knowing the risk vs reward as well as anyone could. It’s certainly not a signing out of desperation as the riders have a boatfull of DL free agents that I presume they could re-sign or are working toward resigning as they see fit.

Thought they might go after this guy in free agency. Dickenson made it easier. Good addition.

Ok ! I guess we will see ! But I watched the Stamp’s D Line very carefully for every game last year and I did not see any of them doing any good.

When the opposition QB left the pocket, the Stamps were unable to track any of them down until after they got the pass away or made yardage

It seemed like they were LIKE walking to a like jogging QB and were just not able to catch up for every play.

They are all above 30 years of age, so was it being out of shape or age or both?

It was extremely frustration to watch. I am glad the three guys are not resigned as Stamps and hope younger faster guys take their place.

" It’s not my job"

Thats the attitude coming to your locker room

Any line needs youth for engine and vets for experience and confidence. Look at Micah last year, stud all star at I don’t know for sure, 35? 30 isn’t old if they have the desire to play. Sometimes a player loses that desire on a team for unknown reasons. Happens to every team.

Mike Rose was the first generation post Stamp era of greatness from 2008 to 2018. He rode the their coattails and never established himself as a great leader and never understood what it takes to get to get to next level. Dave wanted hom gone. Part of a culture change going on
