This could be interesting if they have to turn to him but I don’t think that Eric Barriere will see the field this season. He didn’t get enough playing time during the preseason with us to get the hang of things up here in the CFL. Come to think of it… neither did Zach Colaros (he got zero reps) and look how THAT turned out.
If you HAVE TO start 3 QB’s - using an injury spot or a practice roster spot for QB #4 should be a given…
Because given that you cant use any other player as QB unless all the qb’s on the position chart are injured. And god forbid but it has happened that third guy ends up in the game…

If that happens it won’t be pretty. Both of our rookie QB’s threw (I use the term ‘threw’ lightly) for next to no yardage. In the end I THINK that the guy we kept was the recipient of a lucky coin flip.

Not sure if this is a good signing, considering that Winnipeg passed on him. Riders shoulda kept Jake cuz I wasn’t impressed with Shae at all. I get that its difficult to step in when he did but for all that these guys talk about being ready to be the next man up, I didn’t see that at all…
