REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed National offensive lineman Logan Ferland to a two-year contract extension, taking his deal through the 2027 season, the team announced on Monday.
Yes, because the last place stamps are the singl e only entity that knows how to properly find talent and atba hood cost . Got ya… you proved once again you are the only fan who knows anything here.
I think Canadian receivers are easier to replace. Not easy, it easier. A young Canadian versatile o line that can play any position and has proven he is healthy, that’s a pick up for 3 years. With the cap increase what he’s getting won’t look as high next year or 2025.
Besides I’m guessing Oday knows better than you or I and he gets paid to make the decisions.
CDN receivers are easier to repalce, but not CDN player at any position will not be seeking more because of this signing. Anyways, next January will welech on the deal and look to “restructure”
Wonder if he put that surprise bonus money to work and front end loaded the new deal? Have to assume that this years contract took a big bump. Like it. Continuity on the Oline is key to ongoing success.
100% agree with you. And Ferland is young, healthy, Sask boy and versatile. Everything that a team needs and I assume he’s very happy to extend and stay at home.
