Riders sign National DB Jayden Dalke to one-year extension

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed National defensive back Jayden Dalke to a one-year contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday. Dalke was scheduled to become a free agent in February.

He has seemed to be a better player than one that would get a one year contract.

Dalke was an objectionable penalty magnet early last season. He didn’t start much after that, i think was benched as a result, plus Riders had pretty good db talent. Maybe they’re giving him one more year to mature? He is a good tackler and brings high energy but needs to contain the stupid aggressive part. Riders don’t need more of that shite.
