Riders sign former Ole Miss DB Kendarius Webster

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back Kendarius Webster.

Webster (five-foot-11, 202 pounds) was selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round, 252nd overall, of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins to begin the 2019 season.

Training camp signing, maybe an undiscovered diamond but I wish the Riders would spend more energy on re-signing their FA's.

Not sure if you saw the article below, but in it Dickenson says:

“We’ve reached out to a lot of our guys that we’ve identified as priorities and we’ve been in discussion with them and I think what you’re going to see is a lot of action here in the last week to ten days before free agency and we’re going to sign some guys back.”

Hope that’s the case… but I’ve got my doubts.
