Riders show progress despite losing Western Final on Saturday

If O’Day manages to unload Fajardo’s 2025 $682,000 salary ($200,000 bonus due Jan 15 plus $482,000 in hard money) and put that cap space towards a better offensive line and a top tier FA receiver… then there’ll be no stopping the Als next year. For pulling off that kind of coup I’d wanna hand the Coach of the Year award to O’Day but it would fall to Maas who’d certainly put up the numbers to earn it.

There is now a slight possibility that you will need that jersey.

Wouldn’t that be something.

I don’t understand how O’day could unload Fjardos contract. How could O’day posibly win coach of the year as a GM?

:nauseated_face::face_vomiting:, no way.

Yup. You don’t go from missing the playoffs for a few seasons to winning the west in one season. Winning in the playoffs in almost every sport takes experience now days.

I have little doubt that once they get the QB thing sorted, the Riders should be tougher tp play next season.

That’s the plan from what I hear😁

Tried and true CFL Grey Cu0 winner qb Cody Fajardo, the possibility is very high he’s back in regina after much kissy face apologies from the rider brass. Cody Fajardo with the roughriders as their starting qb with a mutual agreed player contract that both sides can live with a good deal. PS, the riders need to move on from current gm jeremy oday and promote Assistant Gm Paul Jones in that team role, the clock is on in riderville.
