Anyone who doubted Durrant's potential now knows!!! Remember the Riders were also missing Cates and hardly used Claremont which they will once teams focus on Dressler, Fantuz and others. Those who predicted the Riders are in for a tough year - smell the prairie roses. Gosh Paul McCallum looked like an old man out there- what was Wally thinking during the game with some decisions??? Compare Buck Pierce's stats and Durrant's and tell me if you are a Lions fan honestly - are you confident you have a quarterback that is a CFL starter??? The guy I would look at in B.C. is the 4th string qb who looked very good in exhibtion games.

Ordinarily, I just laugh your posts off, but I just had to respond to this. Yes, let’s compare their stats.

Durant: 18 of 32 (56%) for 313 yards, 0 TDs, and 3 INTs.
Pierce: 17 of 33 (52%) for 186 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs.

And let’s not forget what Pierce did last season when he was healthy. He completed 64% of his passes for 3,018 yards, 19 TDs, and 9 INTs.

So yes, I guess you’re right. The Riders have their starting QB, but the Lions are still searching. :expressionless: I think you’re been doing a little more than smelling the Prairie “roses”, Turkey. :lol:

Actually felt sorry for the Bucker.....runnin' for his life..showed he had a few moves too...he was lucky it was just a blitzing halfback that was blindsiding him. The most important stat on Durant after Sat. night...5-0 as a starter. That's the one that really counts.
