Rider trains using underwater treadmill

Was watching the local CityNews broadcast and during their fitness expert's segment, they showcased a bit about people utilizing an underwater treadmill at McMaster to help reduce the stress on the joints a normal treadmill would cause.

Now, y'all are wondering, what does this have to do with the CFL? Well, they used a "pro football player" as part of the story, so I look into the CFL Players list, and sure enough, the guy they used is Rider safety, Tristan Clovis. An interesting way to train in the off-season, but if it works...

(I tried to find a link to the story, but all I got on the site was a list of links, but here's goes anyway: http://www.citynews.ca/shows/shows_625.aspx )

ONe of my shepards used for search and rescue had her knee operated on. They use the same technique for physio for the dogs. It works very good and I am sure this works great for humans as well.
