Yah know, the story has been scrubbed on the internet and i really don’t recall who took the roughing penalty on the Riders 7 yd line and the BB blowing the 3rd down play by having the pass knocked down short and right of the line. The whole play seems like its in a fog and don’t recall a thing.

I miss the teams taking out billboard ads in enemy territory. I love that kind of in your face sportsmanship. It’s like you come up with this great idea the other team hasn’t thought about or tried, knowing full well they’re going to roast you just as hard the next year with the same tactic. Maybe it’s not sportsmanship but you get it right?
I freakin love bomber fans in our house on Labour Day. Great energy, guts and i just love the dejection on their faces when the game is lost. On the other hand they’ve taken a few lately and they’re much harder to love on those years lol.
True story:
I was arriving at a small event at a new, vacant office building in a new suburb in saskatoon on outskirts of town. It’s mid summer day. Adjacent property was vacant land one side, Coop grocery store the other. So this isn’t exactly the boonies, just a new neighbourhood. A car in the parking lot was pulled up to the edge of the property against the vacant lot. As I was parking i noticed the driver was standing beside the car urinating on the parking lot. License plate? Manitoba. So I holler at him (his back to me and he’s still doing his thing) “must be a blue bombers fan!!” And of course he raises his arm and waves without stopping. Then gets in his car and drives away.
Putting the ass in class bombers fans!!
(Coming from a guy who’s contributed more than his share of “class” over the years)

True about the lack of trees in Southern Saskatchewan. It does force us to use fences to mark our property boundaries. I now understand that in Manitoba they do this by “marking” the corners of the property. This guy was just trying to claim some of our great province for his own. This does explain some of the strange smells in Winnipeg though.

Potentially, how do they handle multiple markings in Manitoba?
He’s a wild concept… how about no trash talk and we just respect all teams. There would be no CFL if there were not other teams to play against. So the well-being of all CFL teams should be in the interest of all teams and fans.

I am sorry to have offended you. The purpose of this post was to gently needle fans of the other team without personal attacks. I think that so far the comments in this post have been gentle and humorously submitted. Most are borderline ridiculous and not serious at all.
I agree that we need all of the teams to be successful but we also need to have fun with each other.

There are always those who relish other teams losing, troll their fans, and just generally act anti-social. I guess these people don’t like having other teams to play against. Those are the ones my post was directed at.
No animals were injured in the taking of these shots.

I have always found Manitoba and Saskatchewan fans to be very friendly with each other, probably friendlier than any other opposition fanbases in the CFL. They travel to each others games and have tons of fun together, win or lose. There isn’t the trash talk I see from other fans and I think 'needling" is a good word. All in good fun. And I miss the highway signs of the past.
