Rider App for Blackberry

The Riders are the first CFL team to have developed an APP for the Blackberry. Download it for free from the Rider site. I don't have a blackberry but I am sure if I did this is one APP I would download. Before too long I'm sure these APPs will be available for all CFL teams.

I put it on mine.. it's great!

shows all you wanna know!

:)

I wish they'd make one for the iPhone too.

Good stuff, don't have a Blackberry but maybe one day.

It was developed by Sasktel and they don’t sell the iphone yet so they only created the APP for the Blackberry.

The Roughriders released a new Rider App for the Blackberry yesterday. It is the first of its kind in the CFL. Apparently it will provide game day stats and is somehow tied directly into the CFL’s stats computer. And the best part is, it’s FREE!

Get Rider Stats, Scores and more with the Rider App! The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to invite Rider fans to take part in a market trial of the Rider App, an innovative mobile phone application that will bring game scores, statistics and schedule information to members of the Rider Nation wherever they go. The Roughriders are the first team in the Canadian Football League with a dedicated mobile app.

The Rider App, developed by SaskTel Labs in partnership with Saskatoon-based zu, is a free download for compatible mobile devices. Fans can download the Rider App now at http://riderapp.sasktellabs.com.

“With the Rider fan base growing throughout the province and country, this app provides the perfect opportunity for delivering Rider news anytime and anywhere,? stated Riders President/CEO Jim Hopson. “SaskTel and zu will help us deliver important Rider information in an easy and innovative way to our fans.?

“We’re very excited about this new app, which will keep Rider fans up to date with the latest team stats wherever they are,? said SaskTel President and CEO Robert Watson. “SaskTel Labs will continue to seek out valuable private sector partners like zu to develop innovative new products right here in Saskatchewan, including mobile and web applications.?

“Mobile is the future of marketing and communications and it’s exciting to see that the Roughriders are joining this movement,? said zu CEO and co-founder Ryan Lejbak. “We are passionate about being involved in initiatives close to home and this is just another great example.?

The Rider App is the first commercial product developed by SaskTel Labs, a new department within SaskTel with a mandate to create solutions that simplify and enable a personalized experience on broadband or wireless networks.

Just downloaded it - it’s pretty cool…

...yeah, I don't see myself getting around to this anytime soon....

That's awesome to see, hopefully the Eskimos get one going soon. What I would like to see is a better CFL Mobile site and not the Viigo one they currently have.

Same here... and not just because I don't own a crackberry...
