I do wonder how his season would have finished in the CFL if he hadn't broken his arm. He played 11 games attaining 526 yards on 109 rushes.

He could have been a premier CFL running back no question especially once he shed a few pounds up here. Either way, he's an excellent rb regardless of the league.

Are you kidding he could not stay healthy in Canada .

In addition to breaking his arm when he hit the turf (can't remember where), he also sustained a nasty cut to his foot and missed games. Both were kind of a fluke, especially the foot. He was an interesting story for the year...a good spokesperson for yoga too!

He broke it at Mosaic Stadium back when it still had the old style Astroturf

The Argo offense wasn’t designed to Ricky’s strength’s IMO. He needed a good blocking fullback to lead block for him to get him by the quick OLB’s in the CFL. The Argo O-Line at the time was a pass blocking unit, run blocking was not their strong point. But if were to believe some experts Ricky was going to run for 2000 yds in the CFL.

Kent Austin’s inability to use Ricky correctly was the biggest reason for his dismissal IMO.
Just another in the long list of owner interference that has plagued the Argos since 2004.

He was an average running back in the CFL. He was a distraction to the league. He was no where near on pace to tear up the league like he was supposed to. I'm glad that fiasco is over.
