Rick Campbell on Lions' starting QB: "Jake's going to be the guy"

VANCOUVER — With Vernon Adams Jr. on the sideline with an injury for the foreseeable future, head coach and co-general manager Rick Campbell confirmed on Tuesday that his starting quarterback will be Jake Dolegala.

hes the guy alright ,question is how. much will he do to win ,run , actually throw down field ,show leadership ,is he that guy ?

Compared to T Ford, Jake is not exciting. Ford’s quickness and gaining out of the pocket forces defenses extra pressure. Lions are a very ordinary team without V A

Might be but I don’t think he’s as polished or experienced as Dane was for BC last year.

Dolegala did not show well in Sask last year with far more losses than wins. Granted he had a terrible O-line. BC has had games this year where VA was sacked numerous times. The Elks will put a lot of pressure on him and force him to make very quick decisions. That is not Jake’s forte.
