HAMILTON — Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was seen at the team’s first day of rookie camp with a walking boot on his right leg, according to a report from TSN’s Matthew Scianitti.
It appears that Dave Dickenson got rid of Mitchell at the right time. This year starting out with a walking boot sure isn’t a good sign that he will survive the whole season . Maybe he will still perform well for Cat Fans but right now it seems like a bit of a long shot. Still I am wishing him well. He is too young to retire so good luck Bo Levi !
I did not expect anything from BLM, at one time premier QB but those days are over. Hufnagel and Dickenson let him go for a reason, otherwise they would have kept him. Cats are fooling themselves if they think he will take them to the cup Powell is the future.
I agree - Powell is the future, but then again everyone knows that. I am hopeful that the Cats can still get a couple of good games out of BLM and help develop Powell into a #1 starter. If the Cats did plan on BLM to fill this role, then they should have kept Schiltz.
I WANT to believe in Powell…but he hasnt proved anything to me yet. Playing QB is 90% balls and since we havent won a Grey Cup since '99…I have no issue with BLM playing this season
