Good for Maier. I never thought that the lack of success for the Stamps was all on Maier. Now we will see how he does in Riderville. I am torn hoping he does well and that the Riders do not do all that well as they are one of the Stamps traditional long time enemies.
Statistically Mauer has been productive as you can see. Thanks for the stats. He is the victim of being on a team in decline. Outside of Begelton there was really nobody last year to throw to. He was dumped on for not throwing deep but there were no deep threat receivers apart from Reggie. He does seem prone to making a bad decision at times. Let’s hope that with a better corps of receivers he feels more comfortable throwing the long bombs. I’ll say this if he gets a chance to play against the Stamps next year he will be some kind of fired up. I would love to see the Dickenson boys in last place next year with Maeir and Killam walking all over them. Might as well add Bo Mitchell and Kadeem Carey to that list as well
Nice work on the signing Jeremy O’Day
Finally! The skr’s have a young bonofide starting quarterback in Young Jake Mair. Look for Young Jake to succeed where others have not in the past 15 years on behalf of those sad sack riders from sk.
Kinda like when Fajardo and Maas win a Grey Cup after getting booted by riders? Or Zack Collaros getting to 5 staright GreyCups and kicking your asses at every corner?
Yes, I think that’s exactly what he means. The biggest difference being more people will enjoy the stamps eating crow due to the extremely small fan base.
Silly comparion. Post Burris , Stamps played in 4 Grey Cups, 5 first place finishes and 2 Grey Cup Championships. Now you tell me what riders have done post Maas, Fajardo, Collaros .
There is little difference between the true Stamp Fan base and the riders… most people at ridergames are just looking to party and be johnny feel goods … not real fans
You make no sense trying to sound like Maier held any cards. Gratitude is what he is dealing with right now, cause there weren’t going to be many calls coming his way
The offence was hideous with Fajardo and Maas in 2022, so they had to go and Rider nation is okay with that. As for Zach we did him a favor trading him because he was damaged and nobody believed he should play again. Then you put him behind that Winnipeg O-Line after having 5 months to get his head straight and there you go. Neither of these were bad moves by the Riders
