I think it is great for the Ford brothers to be reunited on the same team. Family is important and this opportunity I am sure is appreciated by at least the two of them. Probability a dream come true for the whole Ford Family.

I agree with Stampederfan.

Elks made big moves today. Ford, Beard, Julien Grant. 3 elite Canadians

Gee that was fast, the window was bareley opened. Hervey looking for another tampering fine? This window was created because of him in the first place.

Tyrell changes the ratio, Elks defense uses one National, now has 2

Elk try to win the Grey Cup the only way they’ve ever known, by trying purchase it. Negotiating deals before the tampering window opens is still tampering.

They also just signed Canadian Robbie smith. That’s a helluva signing. One busy day/free agency for elks. They needed it, their fans deserve it, good for them. I miss the mighty evil empire!

And now Royce Methie headed to Elks… must be alot of back loaded deals. Stamps are being pedestrians it seems

Consider that the large contracts of MBT, Bede, and Lewis are gone. Tre got an extra 100K, not sure about what Leake got but it can’t be more than Ford got is my guess.
So that would leave 100k from Lewis, all of MBT and all of what Bede was making on the table.

Now Jake Ceresna…what salary cap?

Really? They have to be the most active already.
I was hoping the Bombers could land Ceresna…

I agree too, but why couldn’t they have united here?

All of MBT’s salary? Wouldn’t Cody’s contract offset it?

He was at 307 in Montreal, but reworked his contract to sign with Edmonton. I didn’t hear for how much but if Ford is #1 at just under 250K I can’t imagine its more than that…
MBT was around 500K with bonuses.

Elks are going to make some serious noise this year. The CFL really needs fans in the stands in Edmonton. They should have lots to cheer about

Each to their own. I only have but one question.

What happened to the “O’Shea Loyalty Oath” in Winnipeg?

Seems the Bombers losing many of Loyalty O’Shea’s most valued charges. . . . . . and making matters worse, very few of the CFL’s free agents are coming or even returning to Winnipeg.

Whats up wid dat?

Was the loyalty thing a scam? A grift? A talking point?

I am truly Confucius.

Well Tyrell Fors left for what looks like “greener” pastures to him. Play with his brother. Be a part of something new and exciting. I’m not knocking the bombers, but they looked like their peak was over after 2023, then in 2024 they hung on and really turned the season around, but will they be a force next season? Maybe, maybe not. But I’ll tell you who knows better than any of us on this panel. Tyrell Ford. I can’t imagine the bombers didn’t offer him everything reasonable to stay.

They always manage to be competitive. But with all the guys they had to re-up and their move toward younger and all they guys I suspect they would want back he may not have fit.

Then again he may have just wanted to play with his brother, or his dad didn’t want to have to choose which jersey to wear…we don’t know yet.

Yeah no way that all happened today.
