I agree with the others. Ottawa is not becoming a farm team. It is a bit of a coincidence that a number of ex renegades have ended up in Hamilton. The Tiger Cats seem determined to field a winner this year which is great to see. I do feel badly for the Renegades and their fans though because they are clearly not showing the same commitment.
As far as Lumsden making the NFL, I think if he ever does it will be in a special teams/third string FB role. Just don’t see it happening. The Ti Cats are doing it the right way this time I think. Bring more talent than you can use into camp and let the players fight it out. When the dust settles they should have a pretty good team.
