Remember TC's Accident?

Do you all remember TC's unfortunate "accident" when he ran over a referee with his 4-wheeler? I remember how horrified everybody was. But, no permanent damage and I think we can laugh about it now.

Well....it has happened again:

Maas is lucky Stripes didn't take him out during some of the rough outings at IWS this year.

Along this line, I remembered something that happened later in the year after TC's accident. During Fan Day when everyone was let on the field some guy put a TC doll on the handlebars of the 4 wheeler and then laid under the wheels while his buddies took pictures. Some people were horrified yet again. I thought it was really funny myself.

As for TC, TC has run over enough Argo effigies in the proper manner over the years to get a pass from me. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :wink:

It sounds like the Titans mascot in question did not follow a NFL guideline regarding areas behind the bench area that a mascot can freely operate in. That is the nub of the issue in this case. Interactions with players -- especially with opposing ones -- are limited by design in the NFL.

I think the same thing happened to a backup QB for the saints. Adrian McPherson or whatever. he ended up filing a law suit and sueing the mascot
