Reinbold Returns To STs. Scott Milanovich Asst. Coach

As ST coordinator. This is really encouraging.

i guess things didn’t work out at the University of Hawaii.

It says Butler has stepped away for family reasons after the 2022 season, but I swear he was listed as our Special Teams and Defensive backs assistant as recently as 2 days ago.

And Scott Milanovich ? ? ? This is incredible.

That is great news indeed . I absolutely love this guy ! :love_you_gesture:
So happy to see Jeff back home where he belongs in black ‘n’ gold once again .

Also nice to see Scott Milanovich being hired on to take a similar role to what Barker had here as a sideline set of extra eyes and ears as well as a mentor to the players in his role as Senior Coach and Adviser .

You have to admit that things certainly seem to be coming together for this year both on and off the field , personnel wise . :+1: :star_struck: :star_struck:

Thinking future HC.

LOTS of cooks in this kitchen. This will be great as long as we are winning. If we start 0-4 things could get messy. On a positive note , we have some of the best football minds in the country all in one room.

Great to see Reinbold back!

So much for the theory that Reinebold left because of a rift with Orlondo or whatever that BS that was peddled.

True. But my theory is still a possibility: that he was forced to take a timeout after failing to give direction to a brand new kickoff returner at the end of a big game.

I asked him directly through Twitter 2 years ago, and he responded to me directly and just said a new team and challenge had come up in Montreal and he wanted a change.

Does that fall under the “Lack of team culture” category?

Theory was Reinbold smelled a trainwreck coming and was somewhat accurate. Probably suggested, as he left, “give me a call when you’re serious about winning a championship”. And they did.

first off, i am not especially pleased that jeff is back. i thought his failure to properly ‘coach up’ tim white on those two kickoffs at the tail end of the grey cup at thf led directly to our loss. i though he left town in a cloud of shame and i wasn’t expecting him back. we’ve seen a lot of football in hamilton and there is no way the tiger-cats coaching staff can excuse or explain away The Knee. i think the team had to move away from craig butler – we were outschemed all season on teams – but why bring back jeff. we could do better.

IMO,
I think the coaches refused to throw Tim White under the bus , and Tim white made the mistake and did the kneel down as a “brain fart” rather than a coaching error. The fact we were first and goal on the 5 yard line, it shouldn’t have mattered anyways.
I highly doubt Reinbold left town in a “cloud of shame”.
I am aware that I don’t really know what went down. This is just my opinion.

I’m just surprised that no one on this board ever mentioned the Tim White conceded single at any time after that game-day thread.

(Or I may have missed it.)

I don’t follow the NFL. Wondered why Milanovich did not have an opportunity to stay down there. Then Google showed me this:

Ouch.

He definitely has some CFL bona fides though. Great to have him here!

The TiCats nailed Free Agency this year for Players and Coaches! :+1:

The Milanovich hire should make Tommy Condell nervous. You basically just hired another veteran OC who might step in if Condell can’t get the job done. Otherwise why bother with the generic “Senior Assistant Coach” position at all?
