If the Ticats are looking at signing a graduating NCAA Division 1A senior quarterback to bring to training camp, Jeff Ballard (6-1, 212 lbs) could be worth considering. In his senior year at TCU (Texas Christian University) in 2006, Ballard had a 61.8% pass completion rate with 13 TDs and 5 interceptions. In TCU's 37-7 victory over Northern Illinois in the Poinsettia Bowl in Dec/06, he rushed for three touchdowns. At this point in time, he seems to be "under the radar" as his name is not currently mentioned on most of the NFL Draft websites.
