In the game there was a play when the Bombers were awarded a single when they got called for no yards. The point was not taken away from them.
Nobody caught this? Are there CFL officials at these games, or do the REFS just make it up as they go? They have enough mistakes to make during games rather than keeping track of the score.
was a bad call by EE, but the worst call of the night was were AJ3 fumbled the ball at the 50, and the EE came up with it, but a Bomber had possession of the ball.
There was a no yards penalty yes, but as mentioned Edmonton declined it. If Edmonton had taken it they would have been first and ten from the 5 yard line. The Eskimos elected to take the ball at the 35 yard line at the expense of a single point.
No you don't understand. Because the flag came after the initial NO YARDS, the REFS placed the ball at the 35, which was wrong. It should have been a repeated down, unless the Esks would have declinded penalty which they wouldn't. So the REFS either decided to this on there own, or they misinformed the Eskimos.
This is right except if Edmonton had accepted the penalty against the Bombers it would have been first and ten from the fifteen yardline with no point given up.
you can either take the no yards in the endzone… and no single. Or you decline the No Yards and give up the Single!.. sheesh… you’d think a football fan of the CFL would know the rules a little!!
I think arjoel was directing that comment at McMahon, in other words you are both in agreement. So you just called him a #@@# for nothing. Might I suggest reading through posts and understanding what people are saying before calling them names.
McMahon is one of the worst posters on this site. He always post misleading thread titles, post opinions as verified facts, and accuse football representatives of all the wrongdoings in the world.
