OTTAWA — For the second-straight day, the Ottawa REDBLACKS re-signed a major piece of their special teams on Wednesday, locking up punter Richie Leone for the 2022 season.

Never underestimate the importance of a good kicking game. The signing of punter Richie Leone makes good sense for the 2022 season. The Redblacks need a good starting quarterbck-Number one.

These are no brainer signings - as long as they want to come back - no issue signing them. Not sure when it comes to some of the other positions; effecting salary cap (this isn't Toronto) without a full time general manager.
