The scores were low and no offense wanted to take the punishment his defenses were dishing out. Nowadays that sort of crazy can’t be done going into the post season so I guess somewhere along the line the rules that allowed it were changed.

Ottawa recorded 94 net yards in the game, the lowest by any winning team in CFL history. The previous record was held by Edmonton who defeated Calgary 10-8 in 1968 with 104 net yards.
