REDBLACKS announce 2015 Coaching Staff

For future reference:

OTTAWA -- Rick Campbell, head coach of the Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League today announced the team’s coaching staff for the 2015 season:

Defensive Coordinator: Mark Nelson
Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach: Jason Maas
Special Teams Coordinator: Don Yanowsky
Receivers Coach: Travis Moore
Defensive Backs Coach: Ike Charlton
Defensive Line Coach: Leroy Blugh
Offensive Line Coach: Bryan Chiu
Running Backs Coach: Jordan Maksymic
Defensive Assistant: Derek Oswalt

Marcus Crandell disappears, Yanowsky gives up the running back coaching to Maksymic. We already knew about Maas (taking the QB post as well as the OC) and Chiu. Otherwise pretty stable.

This is what The Sun has on Crandell's departure:

Marcus Crandell was the only unexpectedly absent face as the rest of the staff, led by head coach Rick Campbell, fanned out in the RedBlacks' dressing room at TD Place to offer their thoughts on the upcoming season -- and their personal expectations.

Campbell confirmed Crandell wouldn't be back in the fold in 2015 with the coach having elected to stay closer to his family.

"It's a family decision, where his family is out west," Campbell said. "He's fine, he's doing well but that's a decision he made.
