Recievers in 2008 and injuries

The Stamps are now working their 3rd string QB Barrik Nealy out at the reciever position. Sask tried Jeremy Young there for a few days, and Luca Conji has also taken some reciever reps this week.

Maybe Kerry Joseph's recieving TD last year started a trend.

Is it time to remove the rule that anybody listed as a QB has to start the play under center?

Milt is old therefore your body does not sustain the punishment as much.

Say what? Where did you get that info from? Why would they need too?

Both Toronto and Sask have found ways to “dodge” this rule, making it useless. (Reggie McNeil gets listed as WR rather than QB, Jyles gets listed #2 on the depth chart instead of #3)

But why would you need a third string QB as a receiver?

...maybe because the Riders have no more actual receivers???

This may be true but the poster stated that the Stamps have their third string QB working out as Receiver. Why would they they have more receivers on the team that can replace injured players. Jennings is a receiver he is on speical teams, Milton Colins is a receiver playing DB. So why would they have are Barrick Nealy trying out as a receiver. There is no need. Where as the riders for sure in need?
If he was saying this because he played reciever for the scout team in practice yes. But Barrick will not be a receiver in a game do to injuries.
