Was doing some Reading on History of Detroit Lions Draft picks

When I Ran into this ...

The Brian Calhoun selection is a story in and of itself. Hey, let’s just take Calhoun. Sure we can get him later in the draft but the timer is running out and it is a name off the top of my head. Sounds good. Brian Calhoun finished his Lions career with 54 rushing yards, 55 receiving yards and 221 kick return yards with zero touchdowns. He was released in May of 2009 and is currently on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats roster of the CFL. Calhoun beats out Derrick Williams by a nod.

Could we have signed this guy Again
He was in our Camp last year and was Cut..

This winter we picked up another former Lion instead ... guy named Cobourne.

Ya ..we did
He was with The Lions in 2003 and 2004
2004: Spent the season on the Detroit Lions practice roster after suiting up for NFL Europe’s Cologne Centurions…carried the ball 134 times for 570 yards while catching 27 passes for 242 yards and one touchdown...returned eight kickoffs for 160 yards.

2003: Signed with the NFL’s Detroit Lions on April 28…played in seven games with the Lions…accumulated 27 rushing yards and 30 receiving yards…also returned seven kickoffs for 123 yards.

His Birthday as Yesterday..
