Since Speedy B returned two kicks for TD's today did someone win $1,000,000.00 from Safeway today?
Since I took advantage of the Ticats' promotion for STH and got a pair of tickets for a non STH who then bought a two pack of tickets I was entered into a draw for4 GC tickets, flight and hotel in Vancouver. I was wondering if the team announced who won this prize. Since I didn't get a call I assume it wasn't me, but would like to know who did win.
I am fairly certain this is only on kickoffs.
I think even then its “for a chance” to win $1,000,000. If that wasn’t enough, even if you were to win, the winnings are paid out in $50,000 installments over 20 years.
Definitely limited to kickoffs. And “for a chance” may refer to the mandatory skill-testing question. Not sure, though.
And I wouldn’t turn down the $50K per year. Still comes down to $1M. And I’m assuming it would be tax free.
My only complaint is that it’s only available to western residents, given that Safeway doesn’t have any stores in eastern Canada.

I talked to my rep about it, and a couple other things, yesterday. I got an e-mail just a while ago, from another rep, that the winner has been notified but the Ticats did not announce the winner. :roll: Nope it wasn't me either.
