GM Danny Maciocia is likely down to a short list of two
or three candidates to be invited for second interviews.

Those believed to have been interviewed by Maciocia for a minimum of four hours each,

as well as having filled out a 15-page questionnaire

and completed an assignment evaluating Eskimos personnel

are Doug Berry, Rick Campbell, Chris Jones, Ron Vinklarek, Greg Marshall,
Mike Benevides, Rick Worman, Noel Thorpe and Richie Hall.

Rumour on CKNW's noon sports is Ritchie Hall is in Edmonton and will sign as Head Coach.

Mind you, CKNW also had the rumour that Jesse Lumsden was house hunting in Edmonton a few months ago.......

LOL! Doug Berry evaluating personel...I'd love to read that one. Really disapointed if Hall signs as head coach with Edmonton but another part of me is really happy for him. I don't think anyone is more deserving then Mr. Hall.

the latest is that we're down to 4: Mike Benevides, Greg Marshall, Noel Thorpe, and Richie Hall. Hall is definitely favored among the fans but who know what Maciocia is thinking...

Here is a link to an article posted by Perry Lefko tonight on sportsnet.ca updating the head coaching searches by the Edmonton Eskimos and Toronto Argonauts:

Too bad..

also CKNW noon sports has been Reporting Ritchie Hall is in as Coach in Edmonton
He may sign this week a.

so Now who will be our DC..???

Rich Stubbler is a fine candidate, Marshall (Winnipeg) if he becomes available would seem to be the two most experienced and proven guys, something Bellefeuille says is a must.
