I’m a Rider fan but I’m curious as to how bomber fans think this years team compare to the previous 4 years.

Why just past 4 years?
2019 was the most rewarding…a very competitive division, we had to go on the road and beat 2 good teams to get to the GC and end the slump. The 2 years post covid were absolutely dominant teams, this was our peak.
2024 pretty much everyone expected us to regress, and we did - but not nearly to the level most thought/hoped. This team is still good enough to win it all, but it’s not the dominant team we’ve seen in the past.
I hope we can get to a 5th GC in a row, and bookend another Championship. This one would be for all the vets who have committed to the team their blood sweat & tears for that span.
Luckily this team is also made up of many young guys that have played big roles all year and that should be back to push the team to yet another WF next year and years to come.

This year’s edition of the Blue Bombers is easily the worst in terms of sheer power and dominance. We’re not scaring anyone. But having said that, we’re probably gonna run the table anyway because having the best team all season from start to finish has been a disaster for us the last two out of three years. Now that we’re mere mortals we’re hungry so victory is ours. Just wrap up that Cup to go and we’ll pay for it at the next window.
