After trying to play injured, JR has arrived. BTW, I thought his nick name was Little ball of pain, where did this little ball of hate come from?
"The Little Ball of Hate" was coined by Chris Schultz of TSN on their halftime panel a few years ago. The "Pain" bit is from Ken Peters re his early season injuries...which was painful, considering the source of that amendment.

I agree…“The little ball of…whatever” is more of a “saying”…not a nickname as we usually know them…

Good idea, Patcat. I remember reading somewhere that Josh Ranek does not like the "Little Ball of Hate" nickname.
How about adding "Rammer" to list of possible new nicknames?
There are a lot of creative people on the ticats.ca website. It will be interesting to see the nicknames they come up with.
Mmmmm...Josh Ranek...how about 'Josh Ran Like Heck'? Or how about 'Just run like heck'? Okay... time to move on.

I also believe that of the two Josh likes this one.
But there is Julian Radlein, so maybe we should call him J.R. Junior.
