Question

A friend and myself will be in Montreal in October for the Montreal/Winnipeg game. It's his first time ever in my favorite city AND his first time at a CFL game. I'd like to take him to a good sporting good store so he can purchase some memorabilia. What else is there besides "Sportchek"?

If you are looking for Alouette merchandise, give Jacques Morreau Sports a look. I haven't been there in a while but a while back, I used to buy jerseys from there and they were one of the few places where I could find CFL mini helmets.

The stadium has many little stores around the field. Each one has different things, so u can try and go early so u can hit all of them.

There's a funny little mall in Cote St.-Luc at the Decarie Expressway (Autoroute 15) called Decarie Square. There's a big kiosk on the lower level under the escalator that has all Canadiens, Alouettes, Expos and other Montreal memorabilia for the lowest prices in town. He often sells things 2 for 1 and I've seen Alouettes jerseys for $60-$80 with numbers on them. They had a white heritage Habs uniform for $130. I've looked around and this guy just cannot be beat!
