Was there not a couple from Calgary who wanted to buy the Renegades and move them to Quebec City?
The "silence" of potential Quebec City franchise owners could be because there is not a venue big enough. But if the QC government does move ahead with a promise to invest in sports stadiums around the province, it would then be natural for potential owners to come forth and make a pitch.
Lets face it, the number one reason we don't have 11 to 12 teams already is because the infrastructure is not there and NO ONE can afford to build a facility at a huge cost. Our governments have to front the cash or these things don't get done.
