Quarterbacks and hand size

Here's an interesting article on hand size in quarterbacks and how much of a difference it can make.

For reference, I'm 5'8' and my hand measure 9.25" — too small according to this article :lol: Which doesn't surprise since I have always had some issues gripping a full-size football, even though I played a little QB when I was a kid.

Makes me wonder how short guys like Flutie and Wilkinson got by with, more than likely, smaller hands in comparison to the tall guys. I wonder if foot size matters to speed and/or mobility?

This reminds me of the old Dan Patrick show when if a caller started with heir height and weight they ran a bell.

only 8.75" here but just perfect for my Nerf football. :smiley:

unfortunately, I can also verify the old adage of small hands, small ________ :cry: :cry: :cry:
