Quarterback Rankings: Who is the No. 1 pivot in the CFL?

That’s about where I have them. Might be in a dogfight for that last playoff spot. Two games against weaker opposition does not equal a playoff spot as of yet. We’ll see.

Lulwhat.

It is scant evidence. I’m well aware of that. Keep in mind that I am not saying we are the BEST team in the league, just the most well-rounded. Disagree if you want. Doesn’t bother me.

Of course you’re aware of it, you acknowledged that in the comment to which I replied.
You say you base your assessment of “most well- rounded” on a “scant” three games won. Most well-rounded team in the CFL for 2025 must be based on a comparison of all the teams vying in the league. But three teams have won 100% of their games with one having played only one game. So your “scant” sample size is actually limited to one game when comparing to the least of the league’s sample size.
You may be absolutely correct that the Alouettes will turn out to be the “most well-rounded” but you certainly can’t say it based on incorrect comparisons.

Agreed. The Bombers to me looked just as well rounded in facing a tougher opponent in their one game than any of the three opponents the Als have faced.

The answer for me, however is to avoid making sweeping generalizations and predictions based on a one game sample size as you point out.

Bit curious, why aren’t those coaches still with you? I think it’s because they didn’t fit the mold that upper management wanted or they just out grew their jobs. What do you think?

I agree with you that Montreal looks #1 at this point. The team to beat.

I’ve rooted for Montreal next to my riders since fajardo and Maas went there. Even with fajardo gone now I still find myself enjoying them. They’re a great team and highly entertaining to watch.

I also appreciate your perspective about boasting about your team. And objective perspective is alwways best otherwise it’s just obnoxious.

My first comment was about VA.. it was ABC who did

They were all good coaches who wanted to advance their careers and took opportunities presented..

LOL LOL

If we’re talking about off-the-field bragging rights, “My” WPG Blue Bombers averaged 31,165 tickets sold per game. That’s 9,614 more per game than CGY sold. I wonder how many jersey sales it takes to match or surpass that?

I’ll bet that some other teams did better than CGY too.

Jersey sales went up when toilet paper was not available in Calgary grocery stores and COSTCO

Isn´t it fun when a Bomber fan and a Rider fan can double-team a Stampeder fan?

I would be hesitant to anoint him after 5 or so bad years up to last year. I think that Alexander, Kelly and Rourke might have something to say about that this year. Let’s see how the season goes.
