having just played football in high school- i admit i don't know the subtle nuances...

however...
as far as starting qb's go...do they have such a fragile make-up that if they are not performing well --like say....ummm Maas

and the coach (heh heh -i said coach)
makes a decision to put in the 2nd stringer...as in Eakin...

wouldn't that show the team, the fans and the rest of the league we are going to try to win no matter what...

I hate the what if's after another loss...

maybe Eakin struggles as well...but
its apparent he's not seeing any playing time this year unless Maas gets hurt...

Personally, I don't think Maas was to blame for this loss. He played as well as he was allowed to play and he had some good passes dropped.
The insertion of Eakin into the game couldn't hurt, I suppose, but I really didn't see enough reason to pull Mass.
