During the building of the Red Hill Creek expressway the were numerous protests by eco and eco groups.Thet held the construction back several years .Have these groups given their okay?If not the stadium will not be built in time for the Pan Am Games.
I think for the most part, that movement seems to have died with the trees that were clear-cut.

I’m willing to bet… those same tree huggers… are happily flying along the RHCE daily with a smile on their face!!
I don’t think there would be a need to cut down many trees to put the stadium there. If you check Google Street View in that area, it appears that there are not many trees there.
It's never too late to plant some quickly so that we can protest over removing them.
