progress

I know: a loss is a loss. But this team is growing by leaps and bounds. The defence played great, that young secondary is coming around, and the offense hang in there with a back up qb, and a star running back out of the game due to injury. We came within one bad decision (Armstead), perhaps, of beating arguably the best team in the league on the road. This team is full of guys in their early twenties. Even Printers is 25. And they are going to be very, very good down the road. I know the 2006 and 2007 records are comparable, if not identical. But last year we were old and fading, and this year we are young and coming on. This team could have given up a few weeks ago. Instead, it's turning it up. I can't wait to see what it can do with a healthy printers and a full training camp, not to mention a few more pieces. I know there will gnashing of teeth on the site tonight, but I really believe the future is incredibly bright.
