Both expected regular season starting QBs not playing
Should be an interesting game as the backups should see lots of time.
Preseason games are for players trying to get on the full time roster .
We should never read too much into a win or a loss with many starters not even going to see meaningfully time. But we sure wish to see some intensity out there on the field.
Anybody else having issues streaming BC / Rider game . Mine plays the Telus commercial starts playing game then quits
mine is playing fine.
No problems here in Saskatchewan
Not me still having problems if yours is playing mine must be a software issue on my end . I’m using an apple device not sure if that makes any difference or is there security issue that’s not allowing me too view to bad there’s no one from cfl.ca that helps with tech problems
I hear using google chrome can help sometimes as well instead of safari.
I run google chrome on an iPhone and it works well. I’m watching hockey now but earlier in the game there was some freezing of the feed but that’s a streaming issue not a device issue.
Question for the rules masters
In the first half the lion’s challenged a roughing the passer call. On review command upheld the call but then called a roughing penalty on a rider ?
Is this a new rule ? Sounds Bizzare that a team can challenge and lose and win lol
My issue would be that if the command centre can review all plays in a review and call a penalty … With holding being a one call fits all item they could always call penalties on every review
Not unhappy from a BC standpoint. The only starters we brought were our punter and left guard. Overwhelming majority of players (other than Evans and Davis of course) were raw rookies.
Listening to the radio broadcast. According to Campbell, they were told by the league to run out the clock because of a thunderstorm coming. Ending of the game is more understandable now.
On the contrary teams with the best depth usually are there at the end…
i’m wondering when/ if were going to get the advanced stats pages or whatever.
they have always had the ability to call a missed penalty on review…especially for major penalties…the one in question was also a misconduct … Get two in one game and the player is booted from the game.
Pretty sure though the new penalty must be in the immediate area od the questioned infraction.
I only saw the first half of play as we went out to a house party to non cfl non sports watching friends… but the first half i thought looked very good for both teams especially considering most veterans on both teams were not dressed.
The live stream broadcast left a lot to be desired. Just getting to it was brutal. I had to refresh the page several times before I even saw the Play button. Then the feed was almost unwatchable at times. The picture was choppy, like a series of still photos. Then the audio cut out for most of the second half. They were late returning from commercial breaks…the play had already resumed. I guess it’s better than nothing but I’m looking forward to the regular season and the TSN broadcasts. Good game though!
