Premium Priced Seating For Argo Game

Got my seasons tickets today and noticed that the August 13 game against the Argos is the game where premium priced seating is in effect. They have always done it for the Labour Day game, in the past, when the Argos were the opponent. Good move or bad move by the organization? Personally, I would have left it with the Labour Day game as I think it has the potential to get the biggest crowd of the year regardless of the opponent.

I recall reading a while back in CFL Talk forum that Calgary and/or Edmonton does the same thing when the Riders are in town.

Hmmm…I wonder

Saturday August 13th is a prime summer weekend to be away on vacation.

Although with that reasoning, baseball teams would draw poorly throughout the summer months on weekends. And some of the largest crowds are on weekends during that time. I think come August when the NFL is playing ex games, the more casual fan that doesn't see football in the summer starts to think of football, perhaps.
