Prediction time everybody

Okay now that our beloved Ticats have ended their preseason let's hear what everyone thinks the recards will be East/West and Grey Cup. I think there will be no real bad team this year in the whole league

East West

Ticats - 12- 6 B.C. 12- 6
Argos - 10-8 Saskatchewan - 11- 7
Montreal - 10-8 Calgary - 10 - 8
Winnipeg - 9 - 9 Edmonton - 10 - 8

Not sure if this is mathematically possible but then Montreal beats Toronto, Saskatchewan beats Calgary. Hamilton beats Montreal in the East final, Saskatchewan beats B.C. in the West final. The Ticats win the Grey Cup over Saskatchewan 33- 22.

Anybody else?[/list]

No it's not mathematically possible. Too few losses. But I'll post mine in just a sec

East
Toronto (12-6)
Hamilton (11-7)
Montreal (8-10)
Winnipeg (4-14)

West
Calgary (11-7)
British Columbia (10-8)
Saskatchewan (9-9)
Edmonton (7-11)

I don't think Winnipeg is going to click, just a feeling, no real answer. Toronto is still the powerhouse, preseason is just a confidence booster, doesn't nescessarly prove skill for both teams.

Yeah I always wonder about that. Math was not my strong suit.

How about
Ticats 12-6
Argos 10-8
Als 9-9
Bombers 9-9

B.C. 12-6
Calgary - 11-7
Saskatchewan - 10-8
Edmonton 8-10 Same scenarios

Nope, that's 81 wins, there should be 72 wins, 72 losses.

East
Hamilton 9 - 9
Toronto 9 - 9
Montreal 9 - 9
Winnipeg 9 - 9

West
BC 9 - 9
Edmonton 9 - 9
Calgary 9 - 9
Saskatchewan 9 - 9

This would mean the league has parody
It would make for some exciting games especially at the end of the season

Re-East
Hamilton 9 - 9
Toronto 9 - 9
Montreal 9 - 9
Winnipeg 9 - 9

West
BC 9 - 9
Edmonton 9 - 9
Calgary 9 - 9
Saskatchewan 9 - 9 It could happen ,only in the CFL  - but it wont cause the ticats are go0ing 18 and 0

I agree with Miller91, its sorta how i would pick the standings, Montreal is not going anywhere this year. Its Hamilton and Toronto fighting for first. But in the west i think it will be BC and Saskatchewan fighting for the top spot instead of Calgary.

Here's how I see it:

East
Toronto
Hamilton
Montreal
Winnipeg

West
B.C.
Edmonton
Calgary
Saskatchewan

Playoffs:
Hamilton over Montreal
Edmonton over Calgary
Hamilton over Toronto
B.C. over Edmonton

Grey Cup:
Hamilton over B.C.

East:
Hamilton
Montreal
Toronto
Winnipeg

West:
Calgary
Saskatchewan
BC
Edmonton

Okay let me try this one more time

Ticat - 10 - 8
Argos - 9-9
Als - 8-10
Bombers - 7-11

Lions - 11-7
Stamps - 10 - 8
Saskatchewan - 9 -9
Edmonton - 8-10

Still say Montreal over Toronto in the east Semi - Cats over Montreal in the East final

Saskatchewan over Calgary in the West Semi - Saskatchewan over B.C. in the West final.

Cats over Saskatchewan in the Grey Cup 33- 22. Yes, I think the defending Grey Cup champion Eskimos will miss the playoffs for the first time in over 30+ years. Why? because there best Q.B. is playing in Ticat Gold and Ricky Ray will not last the season.

Eastern Conference

Toronto 12-6
Montreal 10-8
Hamilton 8-10
Winnipeg 6-12

Western Conference

B.C. 10-8
Sask 9-9
Edmonton 9-9
Calgary 8-10

Playoffs

Calgary wins tie breaker with Hamilton and crosses over.

Semi-Finals

Montreal over Calgary
Edmonton over Saskatchewan

Finals

Toronto over Montreal
Edmonton over British Columbia

Grey Cup

Toronto over Edmonton

Record:
Number of correct picks - 90
Wrong - can't remember any :stuck_out_tongue:

Correct me if i’m wrong but i believe Calgary would have to finish with a better record than Hamilton to cross over. If they finish tied I think Hamilton automatically gets the playoff berth

Not in my predictions.

ahhh touche
