Numbers ending with 7 were clicking on offense.
Some nice balls from 17 to 7 and 77.
In my opinion, Bishop seems to make his reads more calmly than the other QB's, maybe because he knows they won't be out of his range quickly. I hope our O-line and his own legs can give him some time.
Walker looking REAL good.
Dressler--what can I say, short of saying I love him?
Seante Williams not dressed but very involved in practice.
Luca in fine form.
Cates walking sans crutches. Heard a bit of Coach Miller's interview and he is saying its an "achilles/muscle thing." I'm assuming calf muscle strain rather than achilles tendon problems.
Foord and Hughes looking real good.
MAM dressed and looking good.
John Chick dressed and bandaged up.
Oday there but you can tell he's got some pain. Didn't see how involved he was.
Mike McCullough works his TAIL off even when he is not in drills.
Bowman reported to have been running full out and stretching it out later.
My guess--we take Chick off the 9 game early over Bowman.
Flick--fully geared up. I didn't see him go though.
After practice was over, Grant and a couple of others were having some real fun with the ball machine. (I don't know what you call it in football. In tennis, it's a ball machine. In the batting cages, a pitching machine....)
Anyways, Grant was saying "time to move closer" and getting closer and closer, til he was pretty much point blank, then "IT'S TIME TO MOVE BACK!" It was quite entertaining.
All in all guys quite upbeat, having some fun. I thought the offense looked pretty crisp.
Oh yeah, Lloyd putting on quite a show before the camera was on. He shares his great energy with the others.
A nice trick play, hope to see it in Montreal.
Thus ends my first attempt at a practice report. If you have any questions, hopefully GTF was there, but I didn't meet him.
