TORONTO — With teams digging deep into their quarterback stables in Week 7, we found out that a lot of them just might have some horses (apologies to the Calgary Stampeders, who rightfully have first dibs on all horse-related references).
Yes, Ottawa at #4 looks a bit odd, but might be ok. They are 3-3 and ahead of Montreal and Hamilton, but with the last two games heading to overtime, the “power” is not quite there yet. But best of luck to Dustin Crum in his rookie year. He is so young.
They are in 4th place overall in the standings so it about fits.
I think it looks about right for strength of teams at this point. Things should sort out and be a little more clear after the Stamps/Als game this week.
Nothing is impossible but their for/against is 130 to 195, which is horrendous. They couldn’t run against Toronto and Ottawa’s run defence is very good. Not impossible but hard.
Stamps way to high
Quarterback sucks suddenly No running game
D just made a kid playing his second game look like a seasoned vet
This team is going no where
Blue Bombers are 5-2 going into their first Bye Week which is a solid record so far… Rest up boys, big game against BC Lions on August 3rd to decide the West for now.
If BC possibly makes a ‘statement’ against Winnipeg again and the game is a ‘repeat’ of what happened in Week 3, it just proves that there is now a ‘shift’ of ‘power’ in the West
Hopefully the Bombers prove to BC that they are still a very competitive team for first place in the West!
They’re also 3-1 in their last 4, which should give them a bit more heat in the power rankings. Let’s see if they can get revenge against Hamilton next game for breaking up what could’ve been a 4-0 run.
Yup, I agree. Defence wasn’t ever the problem and with the offence moving the ball well… Even so having Santos-Knox and Brooks back this week should help the cause.
