Ticats ahead of the Als?
I guess they assume the Ticats faced the two top teams in the league and the Als played the worst team in the league
what the heck? NO WAY the Ti-Cats should be ahead of the Als.
Meh, I’m OK with the Cats being ahead of the Als for now. They faced two tough teams in the first two weeks, while my Als faced Ottawa. If the Als are able to score a win this week, though, I’ll expect them to rise.
Chumps more like, that Grey Cup win was a total fluke and we all know it…
Pretty much exactly how I’d rank them.
I agree. Kelly is no superstar and they played a ti-cats team that was less than on their game. Kelly likes to run and will meet some punishing LBs in his future.
What’s with the powder puff blue outfits? Who designed those pretty uni’s?
Well the idea that it was a total fluke could be said for any game that is close. The great thing about the CFL is that any team at any time can get a victory. Sometimes the breaks go one way and then the next game it goes another. The Bombers to be a Championship team 3 times in a row had to play from the starting pistol until the final gun. That was not the case last year. The Argos took the advantages given them and were rewarded with the CUP. I remember the Argos taking that same advantage from the Stamps a few years ago (2012) because of a fumble on the 5 yard line. No one said it was a fluke back then that the Argos won.
OK, I can see that now, sheesh.
The Grey Cup was no fluke. The Argos got a total team effort, especially their 4th quarter defence. Collaros was under pressure all night. It was a close game and could have gone either way. It was certainly an upset, but a well earned win and certainly not a fluke. I’m looking forward to their rematch in Winnipeg in October. They’re favourites now for the 2023 Grey Cup, but B.C. and Hamilton will make it tough for them to get there.
you’re saying the Argos are the favourites and Lions and *cough Ti-cats are going to make it tough on them?
i hope you mixed up your intended teams there. Bombers have to be favourites again. especially since Argos have played one game with a new QB.
Sorry if my note was unclear. I meant that Winnipeg and Toronto are favourites now to meet in the Grey Cup and BC and Hamilton will make it tough for them to get there. Cheers.
Why will Hamilton make it tough for them? they have shown nothing so far. It’s not just on offense that the Ticats have problems but their DBs are too slow and too short.
Not too mention the amount of penalties they have taken in 2 games, and not just the little ones a handful of 15 yard penalties (the sumo splat) and big pass interference penalties.
And Bo just looks terrible out there so far
Hamilton judging by the first two games isn’t going to make it tough for anybody except for themselves with self inflicted gunshot wounds . Honestly can say that a well coached Pee-Wee team would probably crush them without too much trouble and not much sweat .
heh. can’t argue with that. i have to admit that do enjoy revisiting this topic and others in the Ti-Cat category daily just for kicks. also poor @Grover 6 - 0
i sympathize with Cats fans because of all the hype over Bo and this is a grey cup hosting year. i think management totally messed up with their due diligence on BLM’s signing if they actually did any.
…and like the Elks, there was far more wrong with the offence than just the quarterback.
Elks are where they belong. They handed to ball to one of the most punishing running backs in the league 7 times last week. That should have been the number of touches in the first quarter…
The power rankings tend to get beat up by the commentators. But I think the Power Rankings are pretty accurate. I like this week’s power rankings.
I don’t think they messed up by signing him, they obviously didn’t know he would come out flat.
Due diligence? they saw what he had done in the past and took a chance. Too early to give up on him after two games.
