How is it disgusting? They are simply minimizing exposure. Not sure how you can expect it to be eliminated and the game needs to be played at some point
I believe the team should distribute cloth face masks to all who attend today’s game.Even in Beijing China the Citizens know enough to use these masks on smoky days. Edmonton today resembles, to some degree, the good City of Beijing.
Still a tiny bit of haze, but it has actually cleared up a lot now. Going ahead with the game was a the right decision. It was smokier than today back in 2003 or 2004 from the fires in Penticton, and the Esks still played.
Although if the smoke was anything like it was earlier this week, I agree it should’ve been cancelled.
