Poll suggests Rider Fans have highest I.Q.'s

Canadian Press- A recent poll by Decima Marketing shows Saskatchewan Roughrider fans as having the highest I.Q.‘s on average of all CFL fans. Mr. Hawkeye Keys, Decima rep, says Rider fans topped the scale with an average I.Q. of over 125+ whilst B.C. Lions fans captured the bottom of the graph with average I.Q.‘s of 85. "What was interesting to us when studying the analysis was the incredible lack of logic with B.C. Lions fans when trying to explain their teams’ latest misfortune." " We asked standard I.Q. tests first (objective section) then moved to subjective answered types of questions and what an eyeopener of ignorance shown by the Lions’ faithful." For the record the Fan’s I.Q. graph from highest to lowest I.Q.'s were as follows"

  1. Rider Fans- 125
  2. Eskimo Fans- 120
  3. Blue Bomber Fans- 118
  4. Tiger-Cat Fans- 115
  5. Alouette Fans- 110
  6. Stampeder Fans- 100
  7. Argonaut Fans- Not enough fans to complete the survey

and actually, argo fans have a good IQ, its the rest of Toronto that comes up short.

Yes, when you have people like Phil Lind and Paul Godfrey who are only able to be "one kind of football guy", yup, that's about as dense as it gets in Canada, I do agree with that. :smiley: Probably throw in Larry Tanenbaum for good measure. :smiley:

Was this test done using the Wechsler or Stanford-Binet? I presume that this was a culturally modified test version using Prairie standards.

Funniest thing I heard all day.

The "science" of polling is a subject I am familiar with, science went out the window years ago in regards to polling. Political partisan polling killed any science, now it`s just a way for pollsters to manufacture liberal opinion, pollsters are ALL liberals.

Having said that, it is interesting that the more Conservative provinces have supposedly the highest IQ`s.

Calgary should be higher, Alberta has what could be compared to the US Bible belt...BC and Ontario should be near the bottom. The more liberal, the lower the IQ, makes sense to me.

Liberals don't mistakingly use the possesive form of a word to indicate the plural, which suggests that their IQs are in fact higher.
