George is better than our kick returner/DB Woods at playing D but he wouldn’t be in the starting lineup if Sunderland wasn’t on the 6 game.
And as mentioned we have a DB in waiting ready hopefully for next week.
George is what he is. A second string backup DB that will get exposed some when he is in there.

By George, he’s picked up, this year, where he left off, last year, failing on more tackle attempts than any other TiCat.

And yet , crazy as it sounds , guess who led the team in tackles in last nights game with 9 on the night ? Go figure ?
Because he was in chase mode after getting beat. Guy is horrible

But , but , but he’s our leading tackler on the entire team after two games with 13 already on the season . He is on pace for an 108 tackles campaign . The problem with this though is that as a DB this isn’t really a great stat . Now if he was a linebacker perhaps ? Well then that is a totally different story .

Yeah, tackles are great stats for linebackers and defensive linemen, but generally not great for defensive backs.

I have never been a fan of his. Some fans were enamored with him. Like you said he is always getting beat

To be fair…if the alternative is to not tackle the opposing player, I’d rather him get the tackle stat.
Sure, but the better alternative is to knock down the pass.

TBF, if that’s the play being called by Washington, that is where he’s to be positioned. We simply don’t know what the real answer is.
