Playoff Roster

Just wondering who everyone on this site thinks should be on our playoff roster. I think that Collins, Webb, Hinds and Turenne should be part of the secondary. Not sure who to pick between Young and Bo Smith. I think Daniel Porter should be added as well just like we used Terry Grant. What are your suggestions?

If healthy, in the defensive backfield, I'd put Collins at the Safety, Turenne and Means on the corners, and Webb and Hinds at HB.
On offense, Thiggy, Stala and Williams at SB, with Grant and Kelly on the corners and Cobourne (who else)and Porter as RB/FB
Glenn in as QB

And if possible, we have to get Jamal Johnson and Hage back in the lineup asap. Both are vital components for us to get anywhere in post..

I’m not sure if Hinds will be back in time for the EDSF game. I haven’t heard much about him lately. I’m not sure about Collins and Turenne returning either. One area that won't see a parade of new faces is the defensive backfield, where coordinator Corey Chamblin will start the same five players for the second straight week – a rare occurrence in a season that's featured a revolving door secondary due to injury and performance issues.

“That group needs some consistency because they haven’t played together all that long,? Chamblin said. “They need to get in a groove and none of them are vet enough that they need a break.?


And perhaps Thomas could be kept as safety of he keeps doing well there.

I also believe that D. Porter was brought in to fill the role that T. Grant was given before that season-ending injury.

Drew also reported that Glenn MacKay is also out for the season, but Matt Carter should be back in time for the EDSF game.

It’ll be interesting to see who’ll be back in time for that EDSF game. We’ll need as many players back as possible, regardless who the opponent is.

A shame about Collins and Turenne. Both are formidable, but the latter I thought had something special.
