Playoff race

I was looking at the standings and remaining schedules and it became clear that the Als are fighting Hamilton and Toronto for the second seed in the east. Third seed is very unlikely as it would require the Als to run the 5 game stretch and Edmonton being no better than .500

The Als are really in a fight with Hamilton four points back, one game in hand and one head to head matchup left.

They are very much still alive as weird as it seems but they will have to win at least four of five one of these being in Hamilton. No easy task.

I think the bigger challenge we're looking at is that two of our remaining games are against Calgary who have been unbeatable at home and only slightly worse on the road this year.

They basically have to win pretty much every game. I don't think that 3 wins will be enough.
