Calgary has struggled with consistent run game since Cornish retired. They have good backs but just can’t keep them healthy.

Yeah. I do not like that call. That is hand fighting. I think that is good coverage.

I thought it was weak at first but he did have his left arm pinned, forcing him to try and catch it with one arm. I’ve seen that let go as well but it seemed like a fair call.

I dunno. DB held down the receiver’s hand down as the ball was coming. Not sure what the receiver could do to catch that without believing he was obstructed.
Yes. I am agreeing with you:) He was their best back and I understand why they let him go due to his health issues.

As an old D-Backs coach, obviously biased, the defender is separating the hand from the ball. That is how we teach it. I thought it was a little too fast to call it a pin.
